About our Nursery: Busy Bees in Droitwich is an Ofsted-rated Good facility with a capacity for 86 children. Our long-standing staff are committed to providing quality care. The newly refurbished centre features a large outdoor play space, with a Forest School program coming soon. We collaborate with a local care home to enrich children’s experiences. The nursery is conveniently located a 10-minute walk from the train station and accessible by local bus routes, with free staff parking. We offer a flexible four-day work week option to help you balance work and career development in early childhood education.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the children.
  • Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team.
  • Oversee the wellbeing and safeguarding of children, making necessary adaptations to support children with additional needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child’s development.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols across the centre.
Ideal Candidate
  • Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
  • Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
