About the role

In this role, you will support and lead the NPD category team to deliver first-to-market, inspirational meal solutions with best-in-class quality. You'll help manage the complete product development journey from concept through launch, while building strong relationships with customers and site teams to ensure alignment and successful product launches.

Key responsibilities:

• Work alongside our customers to deliver their food strategy
• First line management of NPD technologists within category
• Manage and motivate internal team to ensure all projects remain on critical path timings
• Manage our food range from concept stage through to handover to process ensuring all products adhere to the critical path stages and stakeholders are held accountable about each stage
• Ensure we are delivering best-in-class product developments that hit the brand requirements and submit these in a professional manner
• Responsible for benchmarking and quality of our range
• Responsible for completing all sample submission forms and internal feasibilities with internal stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience:

• Required – Proven experience within the food industry
• Required - Numerate, literate and a good communicator, as this role will liaise with many different functions and businesses
