You should be a qualified Senior Carer with a valid SVQ3 or equivalent with experience in the administration of medication and staff supervision, whilst being able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills working as part of a care team.

Along with a fantastic salary of up to £34,320 per annum (plus available overtime), we can offer you:

The Role

As part of a multidisciplinary team, our Senior Care Assistants have responsibility for assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care, the implementation and evaluation of these programmes ensuring the delivery of high quality care and outcomes for service users. You will be expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision as well as demonstrating procedures to and supervise SSSC registered care staff. Additionally, you will also direct, coordinate and supervise the work of other staff within the unit to promote best practice in relation to resident care.

Requirements
  • SSSC registered
  • SVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • PDA Medication or equivalent / PDA Supervision or equivalent
  • Previous experience at Senior level
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
