This role is ideal for someone looking to take the lead on complex ground risk projects, mentor junior staff, and drive innovation in environmental engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage Phase I & II site investigations across a range of sectors
  • Develop robust conceptual site models and quantitative risk assessments
  • Design and oversee remediation strategies for contaminated land
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals, and client deliverables
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory bodies
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
Candidate Profile
  • Degree-qualified in Environmental Science, Geology, Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience in geoenvironmental consultancy or engineering
  • Strong understanding of UK contaminated land legislation and remediation techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Chartered status (or working towards) with a relevant professional body (e.g. CGeol, CEng, CIWEM)
  • Full UK driving licence
