Duties and responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the front end development team;
• Subject-matter expert for UX design and presentation layers;
• Specify, implement and support all front-end software development frameworks, tools and services under the direction of the Development Manager;
• Take full responsibility for all output from the front end team, guaranteeing error-free code and no unplanned service-impacts from releases;

Skills and experience

• Graduate-level education in software development;
• At least 5 years of experience in a professional front end developer role;
• Up to date knowledge of user-centred design and best practices;
• Experience of Amazon Web Services (AWS) would be advantageous but not essential;
• Extensive experience with responsive desktop and mobile UX applications;
• Good time-management skills and accurate time estimation when quoting tasks;
• Strong team and project management skills.
