A cutting-edge health technology startup in Greater London seeks an experienced electronics engineer to lead the design and development of medical sensing systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electronic hardware design, particularly in regulated environments. Responsibilities include verifying and validating hardware systems, ensuring compliance with medical standards, and mentoring junior engineers. The role offers a flexible working environment, competitive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
Zedsenis acutting-edgehealth technology startup based in London, focused ontransforming breast cancer detection through our innovative, non-invasive sensor technology. Our proprietary sensors and advanced data algorithms enable us to detect subtle changes in breast tissue, offering a safer, accessible, and cost-effective alternative to traditional screening methods. Our mission is to provide early andaccuratebreast cancer screening solutions, accessible globally, to improve patient outcomes, reduce healthcare costs, and enhance the overall quality of care. By developing scalable technology that can be widely implemented, we aim to make a measurable impact on the way breast cancer is detected and managed worldwide.
Building breakthrough sensing technologies takes tight coordination between hardware, signal processing, and algorithms—and that’s where you come in. You’ll be at the heart of our electronics development, leading verification and validation of current designs and prototypes, turning real-world performance data into insight, and pushing the next generation of improvements across every layer of the system (from analogue sensor arrays and PCBs to filtering and ASICs).
As a senior member of the team you’ll shape how we design, test, and evolve our hardware systems. You’ll model great engineering practices, ensure compliance with medical standards (IEC 60601, ISO 14971, ISO 13485), and help foster a culture of open collaboration and continuous learning. You’ll mentor engineers, share knowledge generously, and help turn bold ideas into robust, life-changing, and inclusive solutions.
We know that no candidate meets every single requirement. If you’re excited about the role and have strong experience in most of these areas, we’d love to hear from you!
Flexibility to work remotely at company discretion.
We’re a close-knit team of scientists and engineers who enjoy taking on complex problems and seeing them through. The hardware group is small and focused where everyone has an equal opportunity to shape both the technology and the culture we work in. We hold ourselves accountable, support one another, and value clear, honest communication over unnecessary process. Growth here comes from doing meaningful work, learning together, and sharing knowledge openly. If you want to build technology that matters alongside people who are passionate about what they do, you’ll fit right in.
