Overview

The International Content Design team conceptualises, designs and creates the content experiences for some of Apple's most visible products. Your ideas can impact the way people consume media products, what they look and feel like and how they're used by millions of people across the globe. There is a new opportunity for a world-class Senior Designer to join the International Content Design division on the Apple Podcasts design team. This is a role for the visual designer, communicator and problem-solver who can deliver end-to-end design across media types, screens, formats and technologies; and who can collaborate well with others. You will have the skills to enhance our creative storytelling and efficiencies as we continue to develop our Podcast offering globally.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day workflow of internal design contractors.
  • Liaise with podcast editorial and business teams on product featuring.
  • Collaborate with US design team on product developments and enhancements.
  • Significant and demonstrable design or creative leadership experience; ideally within publishing, magazines or content creation/delivery.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong proficiency in delivering strategic ideas across digital, social and/or static form.
  • Extensive experience crafting and owning the output of editorial design product.
  • Fluency across graphic design, typography, photography and illustration.
  • A demonstrable command of visual and communication design principles.
  • The ability to author, share and merchandise ideas in a cogent and inspiring manner.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative suite.
  • The ability to prototype visual design work in situation.
  • Demonstrable experience with sourcing, commissioning and briefing artists and illustrators.
  • A keen ability to create work under minimal supervision, as well as package and present solutions to the wider creative team quickly and beautifully.
  • A passion for a wide variety of editorial and digital design.
  • A conceptual thinker who is strategically-focussed.
  • Clear and concise communication and organisation skills.
  • A passion for the Apple brand and relentless in preserving its authenticity.
