Job summary

A leader in commercial real estate is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will deliver technical due diligence and manage building surveys for various clients. With MRICS qualification and at least 3 years of experience, you'll also be responsible for preparing Schedules of Dilapidations and working as a Contract Administrator. Qualifications

Our client is a leader in commercial real estate and investment. As part of their ongoing growth, they are looking to recruit a Senior Building Surveyor to join their team in Liverpool

If you're a RICS qualified surveyor with a background in commercial property and a keen interest in delivering high quality consultancy across diverse asset types this could be the ideal next step for you.

Responsibilities for the Senior Building Surveyor:
  • Deliver technical due diligence for a range of UK and EMEA investment and occupier clients.
  • Lead and manage building surveys for both single assets and large-scale portfolios.
  • Prepare and negotiate Schedules of Dilapidations on behalf of landlords and tenants.
  • Undertake defect analysis, refurbishment advice, and develop PPM schedules.
  • Act as Contract Administrator or Lead Consultant on refurbishment and fit-out projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive value and strengthen client relationships.
  • Ensure work is delivered on time, to budget, and to the highest professional standards.
Requirements for the Senior Building Surveyor:
  • MRICS qualified, with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in technical due diligence, dilapidations, and contract administration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a commercial mindset.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Comfortable managing clients, deadlines, and contributing to business growth.
  • Willing to travel throughout the UK and EMEA as required.
  • Full UK driving licence.
