SEND Teaching Assistant – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately These flexible opportunities are ideal for support staff who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You will be supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs in Haverhill and the surrounding areas, helping them access learning and build confidence in the classroom.

Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND
  • Assist teachers in delivering differentiated learning activities
  • Help implement individual education plans and behaviour strategies
  • Support pupils with personal care needs where required
  • Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment
  • Monitor and record pupil progress and communicate effectively with staff
  • Contribute to wider school life during longer-term placements
