A local educational organization in Bromyard is seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support children with severe learning disabilities. The role requires compassion, patience, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Successful candidates will work closely with teaching staff and provide care and education support to students. Comprehensive training will be provided, and a competitive salary is offered. The position is 35 hours per week during term time only.
Vacancy – 35 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.00pm, Term Time Only.
Salary: £12.82 – £13.32 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience).
Rowden House School in Herefordshire provides individualised care and education programmes for children and young people aged 11 to 19 years, with severe learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours.
We are seeking a patient and even-tempered Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role, but new applicants will be considered as we offer a comprehensive training package. You must have the ability to work under pressure and a natural respect for the dignity and individuality of the students.
