Responsibilities
- Customising science lessons to meet the unique requirements of each student.
- Creating stimulating and inclusive lessons using practical experiments and visual learning.
- Integrating objectives from student\'s Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Offering both academic and emotional support to foster student confidence and well-being.
- Working closely with other teachers, support staff, and parents.
- Keeping accurate and detailed records of student development.
- Supporting the ongoing improvement of the science department.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a science-related degree.
- The legal right to work in the UK.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (or the willingness to apply).
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing classrooms and behaviour.
- A genuine passion for building inclusive learning environments and inspiring an interest in STEM.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
- An adaptable and resilient approach to teaching.
