A community healthcare provider based in the UK is seeking a registered mental health nurse to provide care in inpatient settings, with a focus on the Section 136 suite. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver psychiatric services while ensuring compliance with mental health legislation. This role is exclusively for individuals currently employed by specific NHS organizations in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly. Within our mental health services we have wards caring for anyone requiring inpatient care, providing wonderful opportunities and facilities for patients, as well as having Section 136 suites in two sites across the county to provide a place of safety where the police can bring people to. You will carry out all duties required from a registered mental health nurse on an acute inpatient area, alongside being a named nurse for the Section 136 suite, working alongside a multi‑disciplinary team to carry out a diverse range of duties, ensuring the Section 136 suite is the least restrictive option. This job is currently only open to people who already work for the NHS in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly.
