Job description
Overview

Plumpton College is a leading provider of land and environmental education in the UK, situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park. We offer a wide range of vocational and academic courses for students of all ages studying from level 1 to Masters degree and across nineteen subject areas including agriculture, animal management, veterinary sciences, horticulture, equine studies, wine, and environmental studies. Responsibilities
  • Recruit and deliver all promotional activity with schools and colleges on behalf of the college to meet annual KPIs relating to student enrolments.
  • Coordinate the college’s provision relevant to school children and recent school leaders, including 14+, Further and Higher Education and Apprenticeships.
  • Actively promote and enhance the image of land-based industries by coordinating a targeted cross-college approach to engaging with schools and colleges.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with schools and colleges and work closely with the Student Recruitment and Events Officer and the wider Marketing team.
  • Travel around the local area and further afield, with regular early starts and evening work to accommodate school visits and other events.
