Overview

The Store Manager is accountable for delivering Jessops goals, inspirational customer service, operational compliance and colleague development. The role ensures the needs of the business are met through their team and for their customers.

Responsibilities
  • Store financial performance – delivering on targets across all KPIs
  • Customer experience, including mystery shop and CX programmes
  • Colleague engagement and performance management of all colleagues
  • Health & Safety compliance
  • Operating efficiently and within budget while maintaining store standards
  • Adherence to all company policies and processes
Qualifications
  • Experience in people management, leadership and direction – setting a clear direction for the team, inspiring others, and articulating values with conviction
  • Communication and influencing skills that generate commitment and loyalty
  • Passionate about people – from customers to stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
  • A commercially minded approach to retail
  • Previous high‑level retail management experience is essential
