The Role

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Arabic Speaker to join our growing team. This role will have a primary focus on the Middle East market , engaging with potential clients across the region to generate new business opportunities.

You’ll be at the forefront of our sales funnel by identifying, qualifying, and booking meetings with key decision-makers for our Business Development Managers (BDMs). Your work will directly contribute to expanding IES’s presence and impact in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn) to generate interest in IES solutions across the Middle East.
  • Collaborate closely with the EMEA Sales Team to align outreach strategies and follow-up activities.
  • Research target companies and decision-makers in the Middle East using platforms such as ZoomInfo.
  • Qualify leads based on authority, need, and timing.
  • Schedule discovery and qualification calls for the Business Development team.
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns, webinars, and other initiatives tailored to the Middle East.
  • Maintain accurate records and lead workflows in Salesforce CRM.

Essential
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or appointment setting.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding targets and KPIs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in outreach via phone, email, and video calls.
  • Fluency in Arabic.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn for professional networking and outreach.
Desirable
  • Experience in software sales or the built environment.
  • Experience selling in the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) sector.
  • Experience selling Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • Educational background in Business Management, Facilities Management, Building Services, Energy Efficiency, or related fields (training provided if not).
  • Knowledge of Middle Eastern business culture and practices.
  • Fluency in additional languages.
  • Experience using research platforms such as ZoomInfo.
