UTea is an innovative and rapidly growing tea brand specialising in premium beverages made from fresh tea and fresh fruits, offering a healthier and contemporary approach to bubble tea. As a newly established franchise in Deptford (incorporated May 2025), UTea Deptford aims to build a strong presence within the local community and across digital channels.
Position Overview
The Marketing & Sales Executive will shape UTea Deptford’s brand identity, drive customer engagement, and support commercial growth through online and offline marketing initiatives. The role requires creativity, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Social Media Management
- Develop and execute content strategies for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Produce high-quality photos, videos, and reels showcasing product series and seasonal launches.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule with engaging captions and storytelling.
- Monitor engagement metrics and refine strategies based on data.
- Respond to online customer comments, messages, and enquiries.

Delivery Platform Management (Deliveroo, Just Eat, Uber Eats)
- Update photos, descriptions, and menu structure.
- Create promotional campaigns to increase visibility and conversion.
- Monitor feedback and platform analytics, adjusting as needed.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.

Sales Promotion & Campaign Planning
- Plan and execute campaigns for new launches and special offers.
- Design loyalty programmes, incentives, and review-boosting activities.
- Analyse sales data to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate in-store promotions, sampling, and demonstrations.

Community Engagement & Brand Building
- Build partnerships with local schools, universities, and businesses.
- Organise community events, tastings, and collaborations.
- Strengthen UTea’s presence within the Deptford community.
- Support long-term brand identity development.

General Marketing & Administrative Duties
- Maintain compliance with franchisor brand guidelines.
- Prepare marketing reports and performance summaries.
- Assist with shop tasks during peak times.
- Align marketing activities with operational needs.
Requirements
- Marketing experience (preferably in food & beverage, retail, or hospitality).
- Proven ability to design and deliver successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong copywriting, content creation, and social media skills.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
- Analytical mindset with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Canva or similar.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced environment.
- Understanding of Southeast London’s community is an advantage.
