A leading UK supermarket is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee store operations. This role involves ensuring compliance, developing management talent, and maintaining high standards while achieving operational targets. Our business is mainly food & groceries and, uniquely, we source & process most of the fresh food that we sell through our own manufacturing facilities.
We’re looking for an Operations Manager to join our team. Our Operations Managers play a key role in helping our business to grow and succeed. It’s their job to ensure that the store operations are running smoothly, making Morrisons a better place for our customers to shop and our colleagues to work.
Deputising for the Store Manager, it’s important our Operations Managers create an inclusive environment for all managers and colleagues, where everyone feels valued. They role model great leadership skills and oversee all aspects of the store including achievement of operational KPI targets, driving high store standards, ensuring excellent safe and legal compliance, and ensuring our managers are highly capable and motivated to create a high performing and engaged team.
Our operations managers must have previous experience in the retail industry. Experience of managing a large customer facing and high turnover operation (over £150k turnover per week) is essential.
