Job responsibilities

Looking to start your career in mental health? Join our team as an Assistant Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. You'll play a vital role in providing psychological support to individuals experiencing common mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the delivery of clinician-led interventions
  • Conducting structured screening triage interviews
  • Supporting the overall triage function of the service
  • Providing support to individuals awaiting therapy

You'll work closely with our diverse client base, ensuring our services align with Vita Health Group's commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion. You'll receive guidance from the Step 2 leadership team and clinical supervision from the Step 2 clinical team.

This is a full time role which includes one late shift per week 12pm-8pm either Monday or Wednesday. Part time applications may be considered for the right candidate providing the late shift can be covered.

Skills and Experience:

  • A second-class honours degree (minimum 2:1) or higher in psychology.
  • Entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
  • Experience of facilitating/co-facilitating group interventions
  • Experience of working with a clinical population
  • A minimum of 10mb download internet speed at the home address
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
