Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources / Recruitment Director to lead our HR and recruitment function across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping HR strategy, driving recruitment excellence, and ensuring compliance with UK employment law while supporting organizational growth and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the HR and recruitment team, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all levels.

Develop and oversee learning and development, employee engagement, and retention programs.

Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and sponsor licence obligations.

Advise senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and HR best practices.

Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.

Manage budgets and resources effectively to support HR initiatives.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in a senior HR/Recruitment leadership role (Director/Head of HR/Recruitment).

In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.

Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and people management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Experience managing HR technology and analytics to drive data-informed decisions.

Desirable:

CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent professional HR accreditation.

Experience with managing HR teams under a UK sponsor licence.

Experience in talent acquisition for multiple sectors, including corporate and institutional clients.
