A healthcare organization is seeking a Receptionist/Porter to provide patient-focused administration and portering services. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, the ability to prioritize, and experience in a similar role. This position requires NVQ level 2 in office procedures and being a First Aider. The role offers the chance to be part of a dedicated team aimed at enhancing patient care.

This is a multi-skilled roll to provide an effective, patient-focused Service in the delivery of administration and portering.

Administration
Ensure that no patient waits longer than the Trust's guidelines for their appointment by utilising clinic capacity to a maximum
To act as a first point of contact on the telephone or face to face, for patients, visitors and other healthcare professionals, providing a positive and responsive point of contact on behalf of the Physiotherapy Department and Trust during opening hours.
To provide an effective, efficient reception and administration service, to patients and other visitors to the department.
The post will require the utilisation of good clerical, organisational, communication and people skills.
Provision of appropriate portering services
To be support all other Teams within St Leonards Hospital as required.
To monitor certain areas of the building and ensure safety of staff working within the hospital.
