A healthcare organization seeks a clerical and reception service provider for its Day Surgery Unit. The successful candidate will manage patient information and assist clinical colleagues to ensure quality care. Applicants should possess GCSE English and Maths, along with administration experience. The role includes engaging with patients and handling various administrative duties in a supportive healthcare environment.
The post holder will provide a clerical and reception service for Day Surgery.
To answer general queries and carry out administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department.
The Day Surgery Unit (DSU) has a high turnover currently running 5 Theatres, specialising in a range of surgical disciplines including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Plastics, Dermatology and Pain.
To assist with all administration duties, including locating and preparing patient notes.
To work closely with clinical colleagues to ensure patients receive good quality care.
To organise own day to day work tasks. Using own initiative within standard procedures and policies, advice will be available as needed.
