Overview

Porter for the Radiology Department – Belfast City Hospital. We are currently recruiting on behalf of the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust for a Porter in the Radiology department. Location: Belfast City Hospital.

Hours and Pay

Hours: 37.5 hours per week to include 2-3 weekend days per month on a rota basis.

  • Hourly Rate: £12.21 (Monday – Friday)
  • Saturday Rate: £17.22
  • Sunday Rate: £22.34
Main Responsibilities
  • Transfer patients to and from the Radiology Department and assist with the transfer of patients within the x-ray rooms.
  • Handle delivery and collection of X-ray referrals and documentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety within the department; report faults or incidents promptly.
  • Assisting in the moving and storage of specialist equipment.
What We Need From You
  • Two GCSE’s (Grades A-C) or equivalent plus one year’s experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Or Two years’ experience in a registered healthcare environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Reliable, adaptable and willing to learn.
