A regional healthcare provider in Bournemouth seeks an enthusiastic assistant to join the CT & MRI scanner department. The role involves helping patients with preparation for scans, providing support, and collaborating with medical staff. The position offers flexible hours and a salary range of £24,465 to £26,598 per year.
The CT & MRI scanner department are looking for an enthusiastic assistant to assist in the preparation and care of patients undergoing CT and MRI scans. The position will involve close patient contact and liaison with other staff within the scanning suite and other departments. The duties are very varied, and will include providing reassurance and support to patients, assisting patients to change, assisting with preparation for CT and MRI scans, IV cannulation, some clerical duties and use of the departmental computer systems.
Hours to be worked flexibly over seven days, covering shifts from 7am to 8pm.
