A leading property services company in Newbury seeks an enthusiastic Quantity Surveyor. This role invites a people-focused individual to join their team, engaging in tendering, estimating, and project management. Following our client’s successful launch of their Newbury (Reading) unit earlier this year they are proud to already expand their commercial team there. The Newbury team has flourished, having secured further long‑term cyclical contracts beyond its budget, creating an even more stable order book for its bright future.
They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who can share in this growth ethos. Honesty, integrity and teamwork will be at the heart of what they do.
£61,552 inc car allowance plus fuel card, Profit share this year 14%, private health, pension, life etc.
This opportunity offers them the chance to welcome an enthusiastic, people-focused and entrepreneurial Quantity Surveyor to join their dedicated commercial and operational team, who specialise in Painting and Decorating and associated planned refurbishment works to the public, private, residential and educational sector, though a background in brickwork or plastering or roofing in terms of QS would be very transferrable too for this role along with tendering, estimating and refurbishments.
They have been an established and leading property services company for over 75 years, based across England and Wales, in over 18 locations and 32 Business Units, so very well established. They are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work as part of their fantastic Painting team.
The main customer base will be Social Housing and Council/Local authority, Housing Associations so you really need to highlight any experience (on your CV and the summary) in these sectors or projects you’ve worked as this is key.
As a Quantity Surveyor in Newbury, you will actively tender, estimate and measure onsite.
