Pinnacle Recruitment is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis for a specialist civils contractor based in Derby.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + package

Duties:

1. Prepare, maintain, and process financial and project transactions
2. Analyze project costs and prepare monthly cost reports with commentary on variances
3. Make site visits to carry out inspections
4. Liaise with all levels of the construction and professional team, including clients
5. Value completed work and apply for payments
6. Use systems and processes for effective measurement of commercial performance
7. Assist in providing accurate, real-time, monthly reports (Cost Value Reconciliations) and forecast outcomes
8. Attend meetings onsite or elsewhere with Site Teams, Clients, Suppliers, and other parties as required
9. Support the Commercial and Sales team with administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

• Previous experience working for a civil engineering contractor
• Driving Licence
• A degree or the equivalent in Quantity Surveying
