Join us for an exhilarating 3-month locum opportunity as a Social Worker in Bolton’s Adult Central South Neighbourhood team! With a salary of £30 Hourly, this role is perfect for those who relish the chance to make a real difference in the community. This full-time position offers you the flexibility of a hybrid-working pattern, allowing you the best of both worlds with 50% office-based activities and 50% remote work after the initial four weeks.

Overview
Responsibilities
  • Conduct Care Act assessments to tailor support for adults and carers
  • Design strength-based care and support plans
  • Engage in capacity reviews and Best Interests meetings
  • Handle safeguarding responsibilities with a focus on protection and intervention
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Nurses, and Mental Health Practitioners
  • Execute all associated administrative tasks, attend case conferences and represent the Council in court as required
  • Provide comprehensive assessments, leveraging resources from social care, health, and other sectors
Qualifications

The successful candidate will have experience and expertise in care act assessment, strength-based support planning, BIA and capacity reviews, safeguarding, and experience working in a neighbourhood team within Bolton. Candidates should possess either 2 years in a specific neighbourhood team or 3 years in a related area and must be local to Bolton for office attendance when necessary.
