Overview

Based in: Diss, Norfolk, IP22 4RG

Salary: £35-£39k dependant on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 08:30 - 17:00 hrs

Travel: Regular travel expected

Glazing Vision is a leading manufacturer of architectural glass rooflights and glazed structures. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to expand our existing team.

Responsibilities
  • Complete project ownership of all projects from point of sales release through to despatch / installation.
  • Liaise with the client in person and via the telephone and written communication, ensure they are always up to date on project progress.
  • Liaise with other GV departments and suppliers.
  • Coordinate transport / despatch requests.
  • Updating various data repositories with progress of projects, including in house proprietary systems and individual project tracking spread sheets.
  • Ensure payment terms are adhered to by the client.
  • Highlight shortfalls of deliverables to the Commercial Manager.
  • Ensure variations to projects are correctly instructed, costed and actioned.
  • Work to Glazing Vision’s high standards at all times, ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are met.
  • Assist in the development of new processes to improve departmental and company output.
  • Travel to site as and when required to conduct surveys or attend site meetings.
  • Assist the Glazing Vision Group Sales Teams with pre-contract/pre-start meetings as required.
  • Compile and issue clear instructions to internal departments to allow them to complete their stage of the project as efficiently as possible.
  • Assist in compilation of the reports for the Senior Management Team/Board of Directors.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in a sales or project management role.
  • A strong technical or construction background is desirable.
  • The ability to read technical drawings is a significant benefit.
  • Confidence in engaging with contractors and architects.
