Project Manager – Groundworks & Civil Packages
Northern England (Manchester to Newcastle)

£60k - £80k DOE

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role will be site-based, covering multiple projects across Northern England, typically spanning from Manchester to Newcastle.

You will take ownership of the full project lifecycle, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient delivery. Core responsibilities include:

• Leading the management and delivery of projects within agreed budgets and schedules
• Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house teams
• Conducting site inspections and ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved
• Overseeing site logistics and expediting processes
• Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Developing strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams

The Person

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Proven experience managing construction projects (groundworks/CSA packages advantageous)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work autonomously and effectively under pressure
• Experience in logistics and expediting project processes
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• High attention to detail with robust inspection experience
• Flexibility to travel across Northern England to oversee live sites
• Relevant industry qualifications or certifications (advantageous but not essential)
