Project Manager

Location: Aberdeen, Scotland

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Pay Rate: £400-£450 P/day

Job Description

Areas of responsibility:

• Act as focal point for all Customer issues concerning our clients rotating equipment fleet. Drive customer satisfaction and value add through ownership and entrepreneurship.
• Plan and ensure safe delivery of all outages, oversee the production of outage documentation, and maintain and develop mitigation strategies for all pre‑identified or emerging risks.
• Plan and execute projects in accordance with project management standards (email address removed).
• Coordinate unscheduled maintenance activities and breakdowns, ensuring a structured and considered approach is adopted.
• Brief personnel traveling to the Customer site, conduct close monitoring of their activities while deployed, and coordinate appropriate levels of support from back‑office functions.
• Commercially responsible for projects and Customer accounts, focusing on maximizing profitability through scope & risk management and upselling.
• Lead and participate in cross‑functional improvement projects and initiatives to drive solutions in accordance with business needs.
• Support the Sales function by assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives to ensure project feasibility.
• Develop strategic relationships with the product centres to ensure the desired level of service is attained across the fleet.
• Contribute to data quality in all business systems associated with allocated Customer accounts.
• Travel to Customer sites in the UK and visits to product centres abroad may be required.

• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in Engineering, Business or Project Management disciplines preferred.
• Industry qualifications (APM, PRINCE2 or PMI) are desirable.
• Experience in use of Project Management tools such as OnePM, Microsoft Project, SAP, Salesforce or similar.
• Background experience in one or more of the following: PM Energy Industry, Energy Transition/Renewable Energy, Oil and Gas, Power Generation.
