ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

ONE is supporting the development and delivery of political and advocacy strategies for a consortium of high-level experts, advisors and policy-makers, with the goal of achieving shared wins on debt reform and relief over the medium term. To manage this grant effectively, ONE seeks a part-time consultant to provide project management, strategy and coordination support.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

The consultant will work closely with ONE’s policy and advocacy teams, funders, and partner organizations. The consultant will be responsible for:

  • Outreach and coordination: Managing high-level engagement with partners, experts, and commissioners; ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
  • Meeting management: Coordinating regular meetings (scheduling, agendas, notes, follow-up actions) with partners, experts, and internal teams.
  • Research support: Conducting desk research and synthesizing findings to inform policy positions and advocacy strategies.
  • Document drafting: Preparing policy briefs, advocacy materials, and strategy documents in support of the commissions’ shared agenda.
  • Project management: Tracking deliverables, timelines, and outputs under the grant, ensuring smooth progress and accountability.
