Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Management Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, including the initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. Your main duty will be to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards. PE is required for this position.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement project management procedures and methodologies to achieve business goals.
  2. Develop project budgets, timelines, and ensure resources are used efficiently.
  3. Oversee the procurement of resources and materials as per the project's needs.
  4. Maintain financial records of all project activities, including budgetary control reports.
  5. Lead and direct project team members from initial stages to final project completion.
  6. Conduct project presentations and compile reports on project status for stakeholders.
  7. Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  8. Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
  9. Collaborate with the project team to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will meet the objectives.
  10. Manage large scale capital projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  11. Address potential risks and troubleshoot any issues that could derail the project's completion.
Qualifications
  1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program; a Master’s degree or relevant certification will be an added advantage. PE Required.
  2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, including experience in supervising and managing large scale projects.
  3. Proven experience in project financial planning, budgeting, procurement, maintaining financial records, negotiations, capital projects, and managing the full project life cycle.
  4. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  6. Proficiency in project management software tools.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  9. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
