Job description

An automotive component manufacturer with sites across Europe require a Contract Programme Quality Engineer to ensure robust quality planning across new programmes. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in PFMEA.

Commutable from: Birmingham, Coventry, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Redditch, Bromsgrove

Rate: £380 - £400 per day outside IR35

Suitable For: Programme Engineer, Quality Engineer, PFMEA Engineer, FMEA Moderator

The Role
  • Support the APQP milestones and ensure alignment with the customer's expectations.
  • Drive quality requirements through ISIR.
  • Develop and maintain control plans and support PFMEA reviews.
  • Lead the use of APIS IQ software for FMEA management and documentation.
  • Lead route cause analysis and containment activities.
The Person

Educated to Degree, HNC or IQA level you will have the following experience:

  • Proven experience in first tier automotive quality.
  • Complex assembly experience.
  • Strong experience in Control Plan & PFMEA development and auditing.
