Henderson Food Service is the leading supplier to the food service industry in Ireland. We source and supply a range of thousands of products to customers including hotels, restaurants, and public sector organisations such as hospitals and offices.

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Procurement Systems Administrator. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our product and customer data flows seamlessly into external ordering platforms, helping our customers maintain accurate menus, ingredient information, and allergen data.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, is technically confident, and is keen to develop their skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update accurate customer and product data across external platforms
  • Support the onboarding of new customers, ensuring data is correctly configured and aligned with platform and customer needs
  • Generate and analyse reports on customer purchasing behaviour, providing insights to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement
  • Collaborate with sales teams to review customer baskets, identify gaps and opportunities, and support initiatives to increase market share
  • Act as a key liaison between internal teams and customers to resolve data-related issues and ensure a seamless procurement experience
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of platform processes and data workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency
Skills for Success

Joining us as Procurement Systems Administrator the minimum criteria you’ll need is:

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Understanding of product data in a business environment
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

It is Desirable if you had:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline OR relevant professional certification
  • Demonstrable experience working with data imports / exports, including matching and merging datasets
  • Experience working with customer pricing or product data in a commercial environment
  • Knowledge of invoice and credit processing

This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00am-4:00pm Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
