A leading offshore energy project is seeking a highly experienced Procurement Expeditor – Mechanical to manage end-to-end procurement activities. This role provides a hands‑on opportunity to oversee complex procurement operations, ensure timely delivery of critical materials, and support project execution across engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction phases.
Lead procurement activities for offshore EPIC projects, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and in line with project requirements.
Develop procurement strategies and plans for long‑lead items and contractor procurement scopes.
Monitor engineering requisitions, track procurement progress, and coordinate with contractors’ buyers, expeditors, and inspectors.
Conduct vendor research, evaluation, audits, and selection for compliance with project requirements.
Maintain and update preferred vendor lists, incorporating lessons learned.
Attend technical and commercial meetings, providing procurement support and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Oversee spare parts management, coordinating identification, tracking, and delivery with procurement, operations, end users, and warehouse teams.
Support process improvements, policy updates, and project close‑out activities, identifying opportunities for cost and time optimisation.
Perform vendor shop and site visits as required for inspections, audits, or issue resolution.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognised university.
Minimum 12 years’ procurement experience on major offshore Oil & Gas projects, preferably with EPIC project execution.
Comprehensive understanding of procurement processes: bid/award, buying, expediting, inspection.
Experience in developing procurement strategies and contractor procurement plans.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and lead procurement teams effectively.
