CSS are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Applications Configuration engineer to work with our UK customers on some of the most challenging Siebel CRM and eBusiness Suite projects. Organisations continue to turn to, and Oracle continues to innovate, these leading products for business; together we create some of the most advanced solutions, combining the latest cloud based technologies with proven business platforms.

What you will do

Be our customers’ trusted technical configuration advisor, developing a deep knowledge of their systems and needs, ensuring the Oracle solution is and remains optimal. The Application Configuration Engineer will devise and govern the implementation configuration of some of the most complex Oracle Siebel deployments. Once deployed, the Application Configuration Engineer advises and assists customers’ continuing innovation and return on investment.

You will have experience of:

  • Work closely with business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Customize and configure Siebel CRM application modules to meet specific business needs.
  • Develop and maintain Siebel scripts, workflows, business services, and business components.
  • Create and maintain EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) processes, including web services, RestAPIs, integration objects, and data maps.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Siebel application performance issues.
  • Identify and implement performance enhancements and optimizations.
  • Design and maintain data models, including defining data objects and relationships.
  • Perform data migration and data cleansing activities as required.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance testers to ensure the quality and reliability of Siebel CRM solutions.
  • Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration documents, and system documentation.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Siebel CRM applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Perform regular system updates and patches as needed.
  • Must be willing to undertake the UK Government Security Vetting process.
