Overview

Locum Practice Nurse - GP Surgery - Blackpool

We are currently seeking an experienced Locum Practice Nurse to join a friendly and supportive GP surgery in Blackpool on an ongoing basis (minimum 6 months). This is a flexible opportunity, with negotiable days and working hours to suit your availability.

Key Details

• Location: GP Surgery, Blackpool
• Duration: Ongoing (at least 6 months)
• Days/Times: Flexible - part-time or full-time considered
• Start Date: ASAP
• System: EMIS (experience essential)
• Pay: £25.00 - £33.00 per hour (dependent on experience and payment method - PAYE, Ltd)
• Parking: On-site parking available

Requirements

• UK experience in a GP surgery is essential
• Fully trained and competent in EMIS clinical system
• Able to independently manage treatment room duties, including:
• Chronic disease reviews (e.g. asthma, diabetes, hypertension)
• Cervical cytology (smear tests)
• Childhood and adult immunisations & vaccinations
• Wound care, dressings, and other general nursing duties

Responsibilities

• Independently manage treatment room duties and deliver high-quality clinical nursing care within a GP setting
