Qualifications

• Experience within accountancy practice is essential.

• Formal qualifications such as ACA/ACCA or relevant experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Manage and oversee the preparation of tax returns.
• Provide clients with tax planning advice and financial recommendations.
• Assist clients with financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Manage a portfolio of clients ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Skills

Experience within accountancy practice

Understanding of tax, accounting, and audit procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational skills

Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)

Proactive and solution-focused approach

Education

Formal qualifications such as ACA/ACCA
