Our blue chip client is looking for 5 PowerMax & VMAX SME's to work on an initial 12 month contract. This would be a fully remote position offering £60‑£62 per hour Inside IR35.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Implementation Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring PowerMax and VMAX arrays, as well as providing expert‑level support for data migration, replication, and storage management. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure PowerMax and VMAX arrays, including data migration, replication, and storage management
• Provide expert‑level support for data migration, replication, and storage management
• Understand and implement new features and enhancements in PowerMax and VMAX arrays, including SRDF, Open Replicator, and Symmetrix NDM
• Compare and contrast PowerMax and VMAX models, including hardware components and configuration options
• Describe license management, local replication management options, and remote replication management options
• Provide detailed explanations of new hardware, software enhancements, and additions within the latest release(s)
• Describe the functions of commonly used Solutions Enabler daemons and the installation of Solutions Enabler
• Provide expert‑level support for Unisphere for PowerMax administration tasks, including configuration options, serviceability, and management updates
• Summarize software offerings and provide an overview of storage management in a virtualized environment
• Understand the AIOPS Cybersecurity feature scope with PowerMax ProDeploy Plus services
• Use Unisphere API for all provisioning, workload planning, and migration activities
• Use Unisphere API for PowerMax for Compliance Monitoring and Workload Planning

This is a consultative residency where the resource will work within Client's PMAX environment. The responsibilities will cover all aspects related to this technology, including design, implementation, migration, and other consultative tasks as needed.
