Power Electronics Laboratory Technician

Salary: Up to £35,000 + Bonus, Overtime, Pension, Ongoing training and development

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Power Electronics Laboratory Technician with a leading engineering company located in Stevenage. This role is perfect for dedicated individuals who are passionate about power electronics and thrive in a laboratory environment.

Power Electronics Laboratory TechnicianKey Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory tests and evaluations on power electronics components and systems.
  • Utilise skills in soldering, crimping, assembly, and prototyping to support product development.
  • Ensure compliance with IPC standards, including IPC 610 and IPC 620.
  • Engage in rework and surface mount technology (SMT) processes to refine prototypes.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

  • Proven experience in power electronics design and laboratory testing.
