A leading firm in the Aerospace, Defence, and Security sector is seeking a Service Delivery Manager with expertise in hosting and cloud services. The successful candidate will manage the delivery of platforms and hosting services across a significant account. You will be accountable for driving growth, strategic planning, and ensuring quality service delivery, engaging with senior stakeholders to align services with customer needs. This hybrid role requires strong negotiation and customer service skills, alongside eligibility for SC Clearance.

Job description

Are you a Service Delivery Manager with experience in the hosting and cloud space? This is a key role within a large Defence service, where you will own and influence the delivery of Platforms and Hosting Services across the account. This includes both on-premise and off-premise network, compute, storage, and enabling services.

This role is hybrid, requiring 2 days a week working from our Portsmouth or Salisbury site.

You need to be eligible for SC Clearance.

What you'll be doing:
  • Responsible for delivering the platforms and hosting service.
  • Drive growth of the service through engagement with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Contribute to and prioritize a backlog of activities aligned with your service.
  • Accountable for delivering the roadmap and strategy.
  • Report on costs, performance, availability, and usage of the service, including trends over time, to the account and customer.
  • Ensure the account has sufficient skills and headcount to operate and improve the service, backlog, and future states.
  • Use the service yourself regularly to understand it from a user perspective.
  • Act as a representative of the customer within the Sopra organization.
What you’ll bring:
