Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their primary care team at Gatwick. The position offers up to £41,475 per year based on experience. Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our primary care team at Gatwick IRC, located in Gatwick.

Hours

The site currently offers a 24-hour service and shift patterns. This role is 15 hours a week, weekends only, 7:00am–15:00pm. Flexible to day and night shifts.

Salary

This position is full time; you'll receive an annual salary up to £41,475 per annum FTE depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

As a Pharmacy Technician, responsibilities will vary. You will:

  • Provide outstanding, patient-centred care, listening to and acting on patient feedback to personalise care; ensure a safe and secure medicines management service; maintain patient medical records to the agreed standard; ensure standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderly standard.
  • Deliver non-judgemental care within the scope of professional standards; support timely administration of medicines and cost-effective prescribing as defined by our Health in Justice medicines policy; work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 or above, BTEC or equivalent
  • ACT Qualified
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Up to date with Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
  • General GCSE education or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
