Job description

Role Overview

The successful applicant will manufacture a range of sterile products, including TPN (Nutrition feeding bags) and chemotherapy, and undertake other duties to support staff within the Pharmacy Production Unit to contribute to the efficient and effective delivery of medicines to patients.

Working Hours & Flexibility

The department supports a range of flexible working arrangements and all staff participate in evening, weekend and bank holiday working arrangements. The duties and working times attached to these posts may be subject to reasonable change in the future.

Full time 37.5hrs per week (part time would be considered).

Qualifications & Experience

Positions are open to candidates with an NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services or those with a minimum of 3 GCSEs grade C (or equivalent) or above in English, maths and a science who will undertake training and be supported to gain this qualification. Staff will progress to a Band 3 on completion of the training, those candidates who already hold the level 2 qualification will be appointed at Band 3.
