Job summary

A leading firm of accountants in Camberley is seeking a Personal Tax Manager with strong experience in personal tax to manage a diverse portfolio of clients. The role includes preparing and reviewing tax returns, providing consultancy advice, and supervising junior staff. The ideal candidate will be ATT/CTA qualified or qualified by experience, with a keen eye for compliance and tax planning.

  • Strong Personal Tax experience within a practice environment is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and estates.
  • Providing guidance, training and support to junior staff.
  • Liaising with HMRC and other third parties to ensure smooth handling of clients’ tax affairs.
  • Providing ad hoc consultancy advice on a wide range of tax matters.

Overview

Are you an ambitious Personal Tax Assistant Manager or established Personal Tax Manager in Surrey looking for a new challenge with a leading firm of accountants?

Clark Wood are recruiting on behalf of a reputable independent firm of chartered accountants in Camberley who are keen to add a Personal Tax Manager to their team. The role reports to the partners and involves managing a diverse portfolio of clients including HNWIs, company directors and sole traders.

You will ensure that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation and review of personal tax computations and returns. You will also gain exposure to advisory and tax planning work and will work alongside the partners on consultancy projects.
