Want to build a high-quality HR/People Advisory service for a national charity that gives some of the most marginalised people in society a second chance? Nacro works with people facing significant challenges in systems that often seem stacked against them: young people who are not in education or employment; adults and families facing housing insecurity and homelessness, often because of complex needs such as mental ill-health, addiction/substance misuse, a background of abuse, trauma or relationship breakdown; and people who have been involved in the criminal justice system. Our People and OD team - led by a new Director of People and Culture – is on a mission to build a culture and employee experience at Nacro that is worthy of the impact our people make for our service users and students every day.
Our workforce is highly dispersed, supporting people in communities across England and Wales. We are working to make Nacro an ever more inclusive space for our diverse and diversifying workforce, because we know that diverse organisations perform better. Our people combine compassion with person-centred support skills and incredible resilience. They work in a high-challenge arena, and we are aiming to match this with a high-support environment. The People and Organisation Development team are on a transformational journey to become more professional, data-driven/evidence-based/insight-led and outcome focused partner to our colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
Come and join us, and make your mark on our national charity, our People and OD transformation, and our service users.
Closing date for applications is the 14/07/2024.
