Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College. Join our Payroll & Pensions team and help ensure our staff receive a smooth, accurate and reliable payroll service every month. You\'ll support everything from new starter setup to pension administration, working closely with colleagues across the College. If you enjoy precision, problem-solving and making a real difference behind the scenes, this role offers a rewarding opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the delivery of the College\'s monthly payrolls, including setting up new starters, processing leavers and administering contractual changes.
  • Calculating and processing monthly payments and deductions such as statutory payments, overtime, salary sacrifice schemes and pension contributions.
  • Maintaining accurate payroll and HR system data, producing reports and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
What we are looking for
  • Ability to handle sensitive information professionally, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A recognised payroll or accountancy qualification (or equivalent experience at Level 3) and strong numeracy skills.
  • Experience of end-to-end payroll administration, ideally within an education setting, including statutory payments and multiple payroll runs.
