Part-Time Financial Controller – Wolverhampton | £40,000 (Pro Rata) | Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm
We are a well-established, family-run manufacturing business based in the heart of Wolverhampton. Following continued organic growth, we are now seeking a part-time Financial Controller to lead our accounts department and support the business in its next phase of development.
Responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow) with supporting analysis.
- Managing treasury, cashflow, and rolling forecasts.
- Supervising and developing the accounts team.
- Preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Developing internal controls and enhancing financial reporting systems.
- Partnering with operational teams to drive performance.
- Producing and tracking financial and non-financial KPIs.
- Liaising with auditors, banks, HMRC, and advisors to ensure compliance.
- Overseeing annual stock checks and strengthening stock management practices.
- Supporting consolidation, acquisitions, and system development where appropriate.
About You
- Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent) or through experience.
- Strong track record in finance or management roles.
- Experience in manufacturing or stock-intensive businesses desirable.
- Excellent financial modelling and Excel skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work to the needs of the business.
