A leading catering recruitment firm is seeking an Operations Director to oversee operations across 80 education contracts in East London, Essex, and Kent. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in contract catering, strong leadership abilities to manage a team of Operations Managers, and a passion for people development. This position offers a competitive package including up to £80,000 per annum, company car, and bonuses.

The Job Role

• Operations Director to oversee 80 education contracts in East London, Essex & Kent
• To manage 5 Operations Managers who oversee the food offering, service standards and client experience.
• To recruit, train, motivate, manage and develop your team to maximise talent.
• To report into an Divisional Director.

The Requirements

• A proven Senior Operations Manager or Operations Director within contract catering
• Previous background within contract catering is essential, be that in Education, B&I and/or Healthcare
• A passionate foodie
• The successful Operations Director will be a self-starter with a passion for people development.
• A strong commercial acumen to maximise revenue, as well as a sound understanding of revenue, budget and cost analysis.

The Location

• To be based in East London, Kent or Essex
• A regional road based role within the above areas.
