A recruitment agency is looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to work as a Disability Assessor in Sunderland. This role offers a hybrid work model with a focus on work-life balance, assessing individuals applying for Work Capability assessments. Ideal candidates will have HCPC registration and at least one year of post-registration experience. This position includes comprehensive training and opportunities for personal development.
Location: Sunderland
Permanent - full time or part time available (Mon-Fri)

Are you a qualified Occupational Therapist seeking a genuine work-life balance and a chance to thrive in a brand new healthcare environment, whilst both utilising and developing your clinical skills?
As a Disability Assessor you will work autonomously to assess the cases of claimants who are applying for Work Capability (WCA), as part of the DWP Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). The funding helps support individuals financially who are unable to work, or to live as much of an independent life as possible. You will be completing assessments with individuals who have a broad range of health conditions, and you may have the opportunity to conduct some assessments remotely.
An in-depth training programme is provided which is fully paid for, so you will feel fully equipped for your new role - plus this role counts towards your clinical hours, so you will maintain and uphold your registration!
