Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Static Occupational Therapist to join our friendly rehabilitation team in Witney. In this role, you'll provide high quality, person centred rehabilitation for adults in an inpatient setting, supporting them to regain independence, achieve their goals, and return to meaningful daily activities. Working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, and deliver tailored rehabilitation programmes under indirect supervision, while contributing to safe and effective patient care across varied settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, adaptable therapist who is keen to develop their clinical skills, work collaboratively, and make a tangible difference to people's lives.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation for adults in the community.
  • Assess, plan and implement tailored treatment and rehabilitation programmes.
  • Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team across community and acute settings.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families and carers, supporting goal-setting and informed consent.
  • Accurately record assessments, monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Contribute to safe, timely discharge planning and liaison with other services.
  • Support service efficiency, audit activity and performance monitoring.
  • Supervise and develop rehabilitation assistants as required.
  • Maintain professional standards, mandatory training and uphold Trust values, safeguarding and governance.
