Qualifications

Job description
Overview

As the Nursery Manager you will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, education, and safeguarding are met in line with EYFS and regulatory requirements. The Nursery Manager is responsible for the leadership of staff, effective communication with parents, and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum level 3 Early years Qualification.
  • Experience as a Deputy/Nursery Manager.
  • Paediatric First Aid, Food Safety, Allergens, H&S, Prevent, Safeguarding DSL.
  • Good knowledge of EYFS requirements.
  • Good knowledge of OFSTED requirements and particularly requirements for achieving an ‘Outstanding’ Grade.
  • Good Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work.
  • Extensive Knowledge of Safeguarding issues.
  • Desire to continue learning and development.
Primary Duties
  • Manage existing staff attendance, holiday, coaching supervisions, performance reviews, liaising with HR as necessary.
  • Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments to ensure the Health and Safety of the setting; children in occupation; staff and visitors.
  • Liaise with the Customer Engagement Manager in developing and hosting parent engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain Policies & Procedures in Nursery.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties related to the job purpose required from time to time across the Company.
Job Type

Term-time only 8:30am-4pm. Pay: £17.50 per hour.
